A 2.5 hour drive away from the big city of Bangkok is the seaside resort city of Hua Hin. It is popular for Thais and tourists alike, as an idyllic getaway from big city life. Hua Hin was popularized in the early 1920s by King Prajadhipok. Therefore, the city is often associated with the Thai royal family. With it’s laid back vibe and beautiful beaches, it is not a surprise that the Royal Family favored Hua Hin as their designated place to relax. Justin Foo shares his experience and thoughts in the video above!

Wora Bura Hua Hin Resort & Spa

New with the old!

First of all Justin and the crew first headed to their retreat for the night. The majestic Wora Bura Hua Hin Resort & Spa. Because the resort’s design is inspired by the luxurious 19th century colonial structures of Thailand, it truly gives off a unique mix of ambiences, combining traditional style with the feel of a modern tropical seaside resort. Furthermore the spectacular views of the serene beachfront.

A relaxing day at the spa!

Probably one of the major highlights of the stay there is definitely the Wora Spa. The spa takes inspiration of western remedies combined with traditional Thai herbs. Above all each relaxing area includes a private sauna room, steamed room and a heated whirl pool! As a result you will truly be pampered and come out of this experience feeling refreshed and balanced!

Lung Ja Seafood Restaurant

KING LOBSTER!

Just before the last light, Justin and the crew set off to find something to eat at the Hua Hin Night Market. Finally they laid their eyes on a massive lobster. More specifically a 1 kg king lobster from the famous Lung Ja Seafood Restaurant.

4 different sauces!!!

Cooked to perfection, the lobster dish is Lung Ja Seafood’s signature. It is topped with 4 mouthwatering sauces. Black pepper sauce, garlic sauce, butter sauce, and a curry sauce! These sauces are match made in heaven with the juicy, tender and naturally sweet lobster. Furthermore the restaurant also serves up other fresh seafood dishes, such as scallop and sea bass.

Vana Nava Water Jungle

Fun day at the water park!

If you are looking for something more exhilarating and exciting, Hua Hin has the Vana Nava Water Jungle, a state of art Water Park with rides and attractions that will definitely get your blood pumping. “The Abyss” is the world’s largest water slide, and the park also features “Boomerango” Thailand’s longest water slide!

Monsoon Valley Vineyard

Into the grapevine!

Fan of wine? Monsoon Valley Vineyard is definitely the place for you. Even if you aren’t, the picturesque views will be enough to satisfy!

For wine lovers!

There are many activities you can do there. Certainly the most popular being the wine tasting, where you get to taste their 3 award winning wines. You can enjoy your wine with a delicious meal prepared at “The Sala” their flagship restaurant. Which not only offers good food, but also offers panoramic views of the vineyard! After a meal you may choose to tour the vineyards, mountain biking, or even elephant riding!
